A great wine once originating from a small town in the Sicilian hinterland, Piazza Armerina: Velvety by Francesco Furnari, a rosé made from pure Nero D'Avola since its origins in 1962, was one of the most awarded and loved European rosés in the 1970s.
A rosé wine with great balance, with a marked acidity, on the nose you can perceive violet alternating with lavender and jasmine, while in the mouth it is sweet and seductive, characterized by a broad finish with an aftertaste of tropical fruit.
